Letter from New President of H.C.O.

Dear members of the community,

I have been assigned the responsibility of presidency this year. 2010 marks the 25th year of our temple. We are excitedly preparing for the celebration of this anniversary. This beautiful structure has served our community so well. We are grateful to the people who brought it into reality, to the people who kept it going, to our priests and to the devotees who made it all happen. We continue to strive to keep it in good condition. We also hope to develop this land mark structure further to add more activity and space.

This year we also hope to improve our web site and try to make communication with temple easier. We understand that the devotees make the temple what it is. As devotees we come to the temple with various expectations and hopes. My hope is that we and our children can come here and learn the beautiful ancient knowledge like this Sarasvati verse: We bow again and again to Goddess who resides as epitome of intelligence (consciousness) in all living being.

I count my blessings to be working with this dedicated group of board members: Amrit Dewan, Jyoti Singri, Bhavna Patel, Sharmila Mukhopathyay, Benu Kulkarni, Satheesh Kathula, Suseela Ramnathan and Sanjay Sandhir. And on behalf of them I thank all for supporting us.

Gnan Thakore.
